Lancaster Music Festival (Oct 13 – 16)

This year Lancaster will be celebrating their 12th music festival, which is to take place throughout the city centre. It has been announced that it will include over 400 performances by more than 200 artists including all music tastes ranging from heavy rock, soul and classical. Some of the venues for 2022 include the Judges’ Lodgings Museum, Tite and Locke, Lancaster Railway Station, a variety of pubs, and many more!

One of the specially themed events for this year’s festival will be musical recreations of how the music festival sounded and looked 200 years ago! Everyone is free to join in the fun with this musical event and participation is encouraged during a wide range of events from dancing to drumming. If you’re not a natural musician, there’s also a Tuneless Choir! Perfect for those of us who believe we have 0 musical talent.

Inclusivity is a key part of the Lancaster music festival as it will host a range of music from around the world at a variety of different locations. Keep an eye out for the full festival line-up on their website here.
